FAVALAVA is not just about making swimsuits; we make good swimsuits.

You might find the swimsuit naked in the box when the FAVALAVA package arrives. This is one of the things FAVALAVA insists on. We do not use unnecessary disposable plastic packaging. All packaging materials are recyclable, and we use paper packaging that costs more, which puts zero pressure on the environment. We do not use polyester fiber materials to make brand labels. We hot-stamp the LOGO and size on the surface of the swimsuit to reduce the proportion of plastic used.

What else have we done?
A significant external pollution source in the trade manufacturing industry comes from carbon footprints. These are not actual waste or wastewater that can be seen, but the carbon footprint during the cycle from manufacturing to sales is largely sourced from international trade and transportation. 80% of global trade is delivered by sea, which accounts for 2.2% of the world's carbon emissions. FAVALAVA cooperates with local manufacturers as much as possible from raw materials to manufacturing. We are unwilling to see uncontrolled external costs being created because, ultimately, it will all come back to you and me.

FAVALAVA is not just about making swimsuits; we make good swimsuits.
From the very beginning of establishing this brand, we have been navigating with eco-minded as our subtitle. We believe that all girls who love nature understand that when we love something, we will do our best to protect her. Over the past few decades, the amount of textile consumption by the public has skyrocketed. To cater to market needs, the fashion industry has produced a large number of low-priced but low-quality textile products. This indirectly leads to an increase in the replacement rate of clothing and the short lifespan of a large number of cheap textiles. This means that once their life cycle ends, new products must be produced to meet market needs, shortening the lifespan of clothing and leading to more and more waste being produced.

Therefore, our main expectation for this brand is that it should be comfortable to wear and last a long time (until you no longer like it). It should not easily deform or loosen. When these conditions are met, less waste is produced. What you can do is hand wash your swimsuit with cold water or a neutral detergent without bleach after wearing it and hang it to dry in the shade. I would suggest squeezing it dry by hand, turning it inside out, and hanging the swimsuit from the waistline like a wetsuit. This is because the colors of synthetic fabrics will inevitably fade over time when exposed to prolonged sunlight, and continuous direct sunlight must be avoided as much as possible. Additionally, swimsuits cannot be bleached, dried, or thrown directly into the washing machine. Any rough treatment will accelerate the aging of the elastic fibers, causing the swimsuit to gradually lose its elasticity.

A good swimsuit deserves to be treated well. The longer it is worn, the more meaningful its existence will be :)
